I'm a native Russian speaker and an experienced educator originally from Russia. I have a background in education and have been teaching for many years. I'm passionate about helping students learn Russian and enjoy working with both Russian -speaking students and those learning Russian as a foreign language. My goal is to create engaging, supportive lessons that help each student build confidence and develop the skills they need.

Teaching approach

My teaching approach is flexible and personalized. I adjust lessons based on each student's level, strengths, and learning needs. I use a variety of activities to keep students engaged and build skills step by step. Whether a student is learning Russian from the beginning or strengthening existing skills, my goal is to make learning clear, practical, and enjoyable.

The program

Full-Year Individualized Russian Language Program

I work with both Russian -speaking students and students learning Russian as a foreign language, from complete beginners to advanced learners. Beginners can start with the Russian alphabet, pronunciation, reading, vocabulary, and everyday conversation. Russian -speaking students can strengthen reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and academic Russian, while students who already speak Russian can focus on the specific skills they need to develop. Many non- Russian - speaking students begin reading in Russian within the first few months of weekly lessons while continuing to build their vocabulary and conversational skills. Lessons are adapted throughout the year to the student's level, progress, and goals.

Educators facilitate a full year of learning based on the selected curriculum. Program scope and curriculum alignment are coordinated with Outreach.
